FG grants citizenship to Oshiomole's wife and 334 other foreigners.

 The  federal government of Nigeria today, granted citizenship to a total of 335 foreign nationals in Abuja. The citizenship was granted after statutory clearance of due diligence by the relevant security agencies.

The minister of interior, retired Lt-Gen Abdulrahman Dambazau,who presented the certificates of citizenship to the foreigners charged them to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.

Mrs Iara Oshiomole from Cape Verde, who got married to former governor of Edo state,Adams Oshiomole,in 2015 was one of the recipients.

According to the Minister of interior, 335 applicants were approved in January by the federal executive council (FEC)out of  over 500 foreign applicants.
