Veteran Nollywood actor,Sadiq Daba who was diagnosed with postrate laukemia has voiced his frustrations over poor journalism carried out by the Nigerian media about his plight.
Speaking through, Human Rights activist,Dr Joe Odumakin's instagram account, he stated that he "got a call this morning from his son in Nigeria about a certain interview on channels television about me and the assertion by one of the penalists that I was mis-diagnosed in Nigeria!! This is very far from the truth, and it got me really upset. Nobody has spoken to me, so,where are they getting all that rubbish from? This is no way to help my situation, not by vilifying those who helped me during my hour of need:it might interest those carrying fake news that, without referral, nothing could have been done for me, all treatments given to me here was based on the report I brought over from doctors in Lagos!! "
Bitrus of the cockrow at dawn fame has since been receiving treatment in London. Wish him speedy recovery.
